UniFi controller webhook
UDM (192.168.1.1) → Settings → System → Notifications → Webhook (URL: https://ntfy.sh/aloi-wan-alerts)

UniFi's built-in webhook notifications. The controller monitors WAN reachability and failover state natively; selected events get POSTed to ntfy.sh as JSON payloads, which ntfy treats as the message body.

  • · Primary WAN goes down (gateway unreachable)
  • · WAN failover engages — secondary uplink takes over
  • · Primary WAN restored
  • · Other gateway events if enabled in the UniFi notification settings

How priorities are assigned

UniFi doesn't set a Priority header — everything arrives at the topic default (3). Bump priority on your phone subscription if you want a louder buzz when the home pipe drops.
